permanent relationships & plotting call.

it’s hard out in isola for a one man criminal operation. no weapons, no money, no resources - so it’s best to build your network from the ground up. this is a permanent call for relationships & plotting. if you want to develop anything, you can give this a like and expect me in your IMs some day. or, you want me to send you a meme on meme sundays, or maybe you just want us to have more threads in general. we can plot things out, or we can interact and see how things go - i’m flexible, even if hoxton isn’t. some potential relationships are:

THE NEW PAYDAY GANG. you’re one of hoxton’s closest allies. you know who he is, and what he’s done, and you want in on it. you know that crime isn’t glamorous, but it absolutely pays. if you have a history in crime, you’re going to be on hoxton’s radar. bank robbers, weapons dealers, drug runners, contract brokers and private military corps; you’re the type of person hoxton likes. anyone who is from payday 2, hotline miami, john wick, point break, scarface or hardcore henry will automatically be placed in this tier.

ARM’S LENGTH FRIENDS. you’re close, and you might know james hoxworth (or ‘aldstone’, if you’re even kept farther), but you don’t know hoxton. and that’s alright - this is the ‘civvie’ level of friendship. this is for the non-criminals who are close to hoxton, and either know of (and condone) or don’t know of the payday gang. you don’t have to hold a gun to be close to him - though be aware that he’s going to gravitate towards those seedy characters over others. still - even the most morally upstanding citizen can get to know a bank robber.

CROOKS IN LOVE. ships are great. i love ships. if hoxton doesn’t already know you, it might be difficult to start a relationship - but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. i personally think a relationship with hoxton would be very interesting to develop, no matter if you’re a criminal like him or a regular civilian. we can plot or let it blossom on its own - the fate is left to the cards. please note that hoxton is gay. i will only ship with male or otherwise masculine characters. female or otherwise feminine characters are welcomed as friends and close colleagues.

CRIME.NET ASSOCIATES. your relationship is neither positive nor negative, but you know each other fairly well. a strange position to be in, but when your life is defined by your own lies, this might be a common state to be in. you know hoxton, and hoxton knows you, and your relationship is either still in development or is established as a familiar acquaintanceship. times are tough, and if you have some criminal underground connections - maybe you’ll hear a call from hoxton. a default relationship category.

ENEMIES. guilty until proven innocent. anyone could be a rat - and hoxton’s had his fair share of rats in the past. though he’s initially hostile to most people, it takes a specific type of behaviour to land yourself as an official enemy of hoxton - and, by extent, the payday gang. interactions will be explosive, dangerous, and cause a lot of collateral damage. fellow criminals that he doesn’t get along with are most likely to end up here. and - if your name is matt? fuck off, matt. you already got beaten up in prison, want another fucking go?

OTHER. anything i missed? relationships that can’t be defined by these categories? no worries. we can still do those too. just send me an IM and we can sort something out and brainstorm a thread or two.
